The Midwestern University Speech-Language Institute helps clients accomplish their communication goals. Clinical faculty have expertise addressing the unique developmental or rehabilitation needs of both children and adults with communication impairments. Working with graduate student clinicians, we evaluate and treat a wide range of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
We serve children with developmental delays or disorders, and provide treatment for adults with aphasia, dementia, traumatic brain injury, autism, hearing loss, social communication disorders, voice disorders, stuttering, and more. We also assess and treat swallowing difficulties encountered by children and adults. Individual and group therapy as well as teletherapy are provided with a client-centered approach.
