Midwestern University to Open New Companion Animal Clinic in Downers Grove

Midwestern University is pleased to share plans for its upcoming Companion Animal Clinic in Downers Grove, Illinois. Anticipated to open in the spring of 2027, this new facility will provide affordable, expert veterinary care for dogs, cats, and other domestic pets. The clinic will also serve as a foundational component of the University’s proposed College of Veterinary Medicine-Illinois.

Dr. Wright Selected for National Eye Health Education Program Planning Group

Midwestern University is proud to announce that Parres M. Wright, O.D., F.A.A.O., Associate Professor for the Chicago College of Optometry and Clinic Care Lead at the Eye Institute, has been appointed to the National Eye Health Education Program (NEHEP) Planning Group under the National Eye Institute, part of the National Institutes of Health.

Fall Preschool Language Programs

The Fall 2025 preschool programs will run from September 16, 2025 through November 13, 2025. Little Sprouts (ages 2-3 years) & Shining Stars (ages 3-5 years) will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays. 

To register for the Fall 2025 program, complete the application and submit by July 31, 2025. Please refer to the application for additional details including cost.
