Physical Therapy Clinic

The Physical Therapy Clinic is a comprehensive outpatient physical therapy center offering high-quality, affordable, one-on-one therapy sessions. The Clinic highlights the expertise of the Midwestern University faculty physical therapists and provides an exceptional clinical educational experience for our Doctor of Physical Therapy (D.P.T.) students.

The mission of the Physical Therapy Clinic is to return patients to the highest level of function and wellness possible utilizing evidenced-informed and science-based practice that is combined with compassionate care and outstanding, individualized service.

Individualized Care

Each patient at the Physical Therapy Clinic is evaluated to determine his or her individual concerns and goals. Unique treatment plans are based on a thorough assessment of the underlying movement or neuromuscular problem. Each plan includes home exercises and instruction in functional activities to maximize the patient’s involvement in treatment. Manual therapy and exercise techniques are utilized to address the specific dysfunction identified in the evaluation. We partner with our patients with the goal of putting them back in control of their movement capability.

About Physical Therapy

The overall vision of the physical therapy profession is to “Transform society by optimizing movement to improve the human condition.” The Physical Therapy Institute is dedicated to this vision.

Physical Therapy can be a less expensive alternative to prescription drugs or surgery. Many conditions can be treated with our conservative approach to care. If surgery is required, physical therapy can assist you in preparing for surgery and returning to maximum function after surgery.

The Physical Therapy Clinic believes in an interprofessional approach to care and will work closely with your physician and other healthcare providers to coordinate treatment.
