Overview

Our Companion Animal Clinic team includes skilled emergency and urgent care veterinarians, supported by interns, fourth-year veterinary students, and highly experienced technical staff. A veterinary student will be assigned to your case and under the direct supervision of a licensed veterinary faculty member. Our facility offers state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment including ultrasound, CT scans, and in-house laboratories to provide quality results to diagnose and help treat medical conditions.

What to Expect

Our clinical team handles non-life-threatening medical concerns and critical cases for ill or injured pets. Walk-ins are welcome for dogs and cats — no appointment needed during clinic hours. Patients are assessed on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Upon arrival, check in with our patient account representatives and they will have a medical team member assess and triage your pet immediately, and ensure that your pet is stable or if emergency care is required.

If your pet's condition is stable, there may be a wait as critical patients are prioritized for immediate treatment.

Your veterinary student will present a cost estimate for your pet's diagnostics and treatment plan. We may refer you to one of our specialty services for continuing care, ensuring access to our full team of veterinary experts. If hospitalization is recommended, we will discuss overnight patient care at our facility or transferring your pet to a partnering 24/7 veterinary clinic nearby.

More Information

The Companion Animal Clinic Urgent Care is open for walk-ins Monday through Thursday: 7:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. We are currently closed on Fridays for student development.
