Proxy Access - MyChart

What is Proxy Access?

Proxy access allows parents, legal guardians, and caregivers to log into their MyChart account, and then connect to medical information for the patient. Availability based on the age of the patient and proper authorization.

Who is eligible for MyChart for Patients?

  • Patients 18 years old and over: Create a MyChart account of your own to stay connected to your health.
  • Patients 15-17 years old: Create a MyChart account of your own to stay connected to your health.
  • Patients 14 years old and under: Does not apply to this age group.

MyChart Proxy Access - Full Access

  • Use eCheck-in for appointments
  • Communicate with their care team
  • Patients 18 years old and over: Adult-to-adult proxy access is available with authorization from the patient. A patient can give someone this access through MyChart on their own.
  • Patients 15-17 years old: By default, proxy access is limited for teens to help protect patient privacy. Access ends on the patient's 15th birthday.
  • Patients 14 years old and under: Available to parents and legal guardians with verified authorization.
