Tuition & Costs
Payment of tuition and fees for international students.
Payment of Tuition and Fees
All accepted International matriculates who are requesting the Form I-20 in order to obtain an F-1 student visa OR who are not U.S. citizens/ permanent residents/ eligible non-citizens must prepay tuition, and in some cases other mandatory program fees for the first year of their educational program 45 days prior to the first day of the first quarter of each academic year. Additionally, U.S. Immigration regulations require that students provide documentation that verifies that they have the financial resources to cover the estimated fees and living expenses for the first year of their program before issuing the Form I-20.
Prepaid tuition payments should be submitted to the Student Accounts Office within the Office of Student Financial Services, no later than 45 days before the start of the class. If for any reason, you are unable to prepay the tuition, please contact the Student Financial Services Office at your respective campus.
Also, please refer to the estimated Cost of Attendance to help understand your costs and educational expenses. Historically, tuition has increased between 4% and 7% annually. Tuition rates will be subject to change each academic year for all enrolled students.
Cost of Attendance:
Please note that our refund policy is based on Federal Regulations and therefore prepaid tuition is refunded on a prorated basis for anyone who withdraws prior to program completion. Please see our online University Catalog for full details on the MWU refund policy.
Detailed information regarding tuition and fees is available in the International Student Hub Canvas Course (login required) that all deposited International students are automatically enrolled into.
