Stephanie Christensen, Ph.D., CCC-SLP

Biography

Dr. Christensen completed her doctoral degree at Arizona State University and has been a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist for over 20 years. She has worked in a variety of settings, including acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient, home health, and sub-acute care.

Dr. Christensen has worked in academia for over 15 years with primary expertise in aphasia and neuroscience. In clinical practice, she enjoys assessing and treating adults with acquired neurogenic communication disorders and has a particular interest in helping individuals with aphasia maximize their quality of life. She currently runs the weekly Aphasia and Caregiver Support group offered at the Therapy Institute.
