Biography
Professor Edwards completed her Master of Science degree at Arizona State University and is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist. She has worked as a medical speech-language pathologist in acute care, in-patient acute rehabilitation, and outpatient rehabilitation. Professor Edwards specializes in cognitive-communication disorders, assessing and treating adults with traumatic brain injury or history of concussion, stroke, and mild cognitive impairment.
Professor Edwards facilitates a mini rotation at the Mayo Clinic every quarter, allowing her students the opportunity to shadow a licensed SLP in the acute hospital setting.
