Biography

Judith Ball, M.S., CCC-SLP is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Speech-Language Pathology at MWU. She provides clinical supervision and instruction of SLP graduate students in the Speech-Language Institute. Mrs. Ball received her Bachelor and Master of Science degrees at Illinois State University. She has worked over 30 years as a speech-language pathologist with a focus on acquired brain injury.

Previously, Mrs. Ball was a speech-language pathologist at the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab (formerly know as the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago Day Rehabilitation) program in Willowbrook. She worked with adults and children with a variety of cognitive and communicative disorders due to neurological impairments as a result of stroke, brain tumor, traumatic brain injury, and diseases such as Parkinson’s disease.

Mrs. Ball is also certified in SPEAK OUT!® and LSVT LOUD for Parkinson’s Disease.
