Biography
Audra Little, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Speech-Language Pathology Program at Midwestern University and a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist. She earned her Master of Science in Clinical Speech-Language Pathology from Northern Arizona University. Professor Little holds certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), a Standard Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate (PreK–12) from the Arizona Department of Education, and state licensure in Arizona.
With over 30 years of experience in the field, Professor Little brings a broad and diverse clinical background to her teaching. She has worked extensively in public education, including serving as a Hearing and Vision Coordinator, and also has experience in pediatric clinic-based therapy and adult medical speech therapy. Her areas of interest include pediatric speech and language disorders, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), hearing impairments, and social pragmatics. Professor Little teaches the Aural Rehabilitation course and has completed extensive training in pediatric communication disorders, including Language Acquisition through Motor Planning (LAMP) and Strategies for Teaching based on Autism Research (STARS).
