Affordable Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy is a broad practice focused on helping individuals (adult or child) participate in personally meaningful activities. People who have experienced injury, illness, or disability often face limitations that interfere with their ability to complete or manage everyday tasks. Managing these new limitations can be difficult, especially since no two people experience them in the same way.

About Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy is designed to help people of all ages develop the skills needed to participate in everyday activities or occupations. With the help of an occupational therapist, clients can see improvement in their ability to perform the daily activities that are most important to them—like getting dressed, managing their own medications, preparing a meal, texting a friend, writing a note, or playing a favorite game. Occupational therapy is relationship-centered, and understanding client ambitions and goals is paramount.
