William Elza, D.M.D.
Biography
Dr. Elza attended Arizona State University where he received his B.A. degree in Anthropology. Dr. Elza went on and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Boston University in 2009. In 2013, he sold his practice in Texas, moved to Arizona and practiced general dentistry as an associate dentist. He joined Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine as a part-time preclinical adjunct professor in 2013 while maintaining private clinical practice. Dr. Elza was promoted to full-time faculty as a clinical assistant professor in 2015.
Dr. Elza received Dean’s awards in 2016, 2017, and 2019 and graduated from the Costin Leadership Institute in 2017. In 2020, Dr. Elza accepted the position of Clinical Care Coordinator. Dr. Elza enjoys emerging technology in the dental field, focusing on CAD/CAM Dentistry, Digital Dentures, and 3D Printing applications. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Arizona Dental Association, and the American Dental Education Association.
