Biography

Dr. Brachvogel received his B.S. degree in Biology from Pacific Lutheran University in 1985 and his D.D.S. from the University of Washington in 1990. After graduation, he practiced in Tacoma and taught preclinical prosthodontics at UW. From 1991-2014 he was in private practice in Boulder, Colorado (and voted “Top Dentist” by his peers from 2009-2014). He was also an adjunct clinical professor at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. In April 2015, he joined the Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine as a Clinical Assistant Professor where he serves as a Clinical Care Coordinator. 

He is co-chair of AADR-AZ programming. He is a Fellow of the ADEA Leadership Institute (2023). He was selected Faculty of the Year 2019 and 2020. He is active in the Practice Management and Orofacial Pain/TMD curriculum at MWU.  He is an alumnus of The Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education. He maintains an active membership in the Academy of General Dentistry (Fellowship 1997, Mastership 2019) and the International College of Dentists (Fellowship in 2016), American College of Dentist (Fellowship in 2020), ADEA, IADR, and ADA.
