Biography

Thomas Dillon, PT, DPT, OCS, COMT is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Midwestern University Multispecialty Clinic. He received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Iowa and his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Midwestern University. He is completing his Doctor of Science degree at Andrews University. He is a Certified Orthopedic Manual therapist. He has more than 14 years of experience in the outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine setting. His special interests include orthopedic conditions, especially the hip, pelvis, and post-operative care.  

As a Clinical Associate Professor he contributes to the integration of the DPT students into clinic environments with real patient care. He is a faculty member for many simulated clinic courses, as well as assists in several other orthopedic related DPT courses at Midwestern University. Dr. Dillon is a certified orthopedic specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy specialists. His active research includes sacroiliac joint stability and real-time ultrasound imaging. He is a member of the Orthopedic Section of the American Physical Therapy Association.
