As a psychologist, Dr. Liddell enjoys forming meaningful connections with others and helping them achieve their personal goals whenever possible. He is a licensed psychologist in Utah and Arizona. He has experience in general clinical/counseling psychology, medical psychology, neuropsychological and psychological assessment, rehabilitation psychology, and psychotherapy. He is trained in evidence-based treatments for trauma, depression, anxiety, insomnia, chronic pain, and functional neurological disorders.

His clinical interests include the evaluation and treatment of anxiety and depression, trauma/PTSD, and insomnia. He also has a unique interest in medical psychology and enjoys working with individuals struggling with functional neurological disorders, conversion or somatoform issues, tic disorders/Tourettes, or psychological adjustment to medical conditions or injury. His ideal patient is someone who is brave enough to be vulnerable and look inward. He finds that therapy works best when both parties are unafraid to be fully honest, both with themselves and with each other, even if it is uncomfortable or scary.

Beyond that, he loves it when a person is ready to put in some work outside of sessions. He is most proud professionally when he can sit in the same space with a patient and both parties can acknowledge that the patient is achieving their goals, feeling better, and experiencing positive growth.
