Biography

My innate curiosity and enthusiasm for solving puzzles are two of the driving forces that steered me to anatomic pathology. The ultimate goal in solving these mysteries is to gain knowledge of clinical diseases to help in prevention and treatment. One of my greatest joys is inspiring students to critically think about their patients and understand how diseases manifest within the body to result in clinical signs. I am especially interested in factors associated with the increased risk of developing, or the progression of, different cancers in many animal species.
