Biography

Dr. Stacey Lane is a Clinical Instructor at the Midwestern University Multidisciplinary Clinic. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and a Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from Regis University in Denver, CO. She began her career working in inpatient rehabilitation at Craig Hospital in Denver, CO.

During that time, she developed a passion for treating patients with neurologic conditions and soon realized the prevalence of vestibular dysfunction in many of her patients. She then joined the team at Shirley Ryan Ability Lab, where she gained expertise in treating individuals with a wide range of vestibular conditions, concussions, and cervicogenic dizziness. She  cultivated a team approach to vestibular mentorship for clinicians within the organization to better serve patients with various neurologic conditions.

Stacey completed the Vestibular Rehabilitation Competency-Based Course at Emory University in 2014 and currently facilitates Lab instruction in local and international vestibular courses. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association/Neurologic Section and serves on the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy Practice Committee.

She is also an adjunct faculty for South College and Baylor University Hybrid DPT programs and teaches the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab Academy annual Spinal Cord Injury Course. Stacey is excited to bring her neurologic and vestibular clinical expertise to the Multispecialty Clinic.
