Biography

Dr. Sarah El-Khazendar earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Illinois College of Optometry and then went on to complete her residency in vision therapy and brain injury rehabilitation at the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. El-Khazendar has extensive experience working with pediatric and brain injury patients. Dr. El-Khazendar’s active involvement with the American Optometric Association InfantSEE® program is a testament to her commitment to early detection and intervention within the first year of life. She enjoys providing care to the community through vision screenings and other services. Dr. El-Khazendar is affiliated with many optometric organizations and has presented lectures and research at several national meetings, including American Academy of Optometry, American Optometric Association, and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.
