Samantha Rice, O.D., FAAO

Biography

Dr. Samantha Rice graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry and was recognized as valedictorian upon graduation. She then completed a residency in pediatrics and binocular vision at the same institution. Before joining Midwestern University, Dr. Rice worked at a pediatric community healthcare center and provided bilingual optometric care to a diverse patient population. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (AAO) and her primary areas of interest are pediatrics, special needs populations, and myopia control.
