Biography
Dr. Takla received her DMD from Case-Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She is originally from Egypt and graduated from the Cairo University Dental School, where she practiced for several years before moving to the United States and getting her second degree in dentistry from Case-Western. She received an honorary award from John Hudec Dental institute.
Dr. Takla practiced dentistry in Cleveland Ohio while serving as an Adjunct Professor at Case Western Reserve University. She then relocated to Arizona in 2015 to practice General dentistry in Private Practice for 7 years before joining Midwestern in 2021 to start her academic career as a Clinical Assistant Professor. Dr. Takla is a member of the Arizona Dental Association and the American Dental Association. Her passion is aesthetic and comprehensive cases as well as training and working with the dental students in the clinic.
