Melanie Bauer, D.M.D., M.B.S.

Biography

Dr. Bauer received her BS in Environmental Science from Creighton University in 2004. She then continued her education at Midwestern University to earn her MBS and DMD. Upon completion of dental school, she commissioned as Dental Officer in the U.S. Navy where she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency and practiced dentistry in Okinawa, Japan for 4 years. Once she finished her service obligation she moved back to Scottsdale and worked in private practice for 6 years. Her career in academics began in 2017 when she became Adjunct Faculty for CDMA before transitioning to Assistant Professor in 2020.  She serves on the Admissions Committee and Library Committee for the University.
