Biography

Dr. Klausing received her Bachelor of Science in 2008 from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL in Health Sciences. In 2012, she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and Master in the Science of Clinical Investigation from Washington University in St. Louis. The research she conducted during her Master’s program was published and presented at national professional conferences. She was also the recipient of the Steven J. Rose Research Award upon graduation from her DPT program. 

Dr. Klausing completed an Orthopedic Residency in 2013 and became a board-certified specialist in orthopedic physical therapy (OCS) in 2014. Additionally, she is a certified clinical instructor (CCI) and member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Arizona chapter (AZPTA), Orthopedic Section (AOPT), and has served as a content writer for Orthopedics in the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties Academy (ABPTS) of Content Experts. 

Most of her clinical experience has been centered around working with adults with various orthopedic conditions, in both private and hospital-based outpatient settings.
