Biography

Dr. Cohn received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and earned his DDS at Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1982. Upon graduation from dental school, he joined his father’s practice in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. During the 31 years of private practice, Dr. Cohn focused on comprehensive care of the pediatric, adolescent and adult patient as well as serving the geriatric population residing in skilled nursing facilities. In 2008 he joined the faculty at Marquette University’s dental school as an adjunct clinical professor participating in clinical and preclinical courses. Dr. Cohn served as a member of the clinical faculty at the Milwaukee Area Technical College’s Dental Hygiene program as a Dental Supervisor. 

During the summer of 2013, he relocated to Arizona to pursue an academic career in dentistry and joined the faculty at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine, and is currently in the role of Clinical Care Coordinator. Dr. Cohn serves as a consultant/examiner for the CDCA (Commission on Dental Competency), the administrator of the ADEX Dental Examination. Dr. Cohn is a member of the American Dental Association, its component societies, The American Dental Education Association, and is a Fellow in the International College of Dentists.
