Biography

Dr. Pulido received her DDS degree from the Universidad Europea de Madrid, Spain in 2001 and her MS and Certificate in Operative Dentistry from the University of Iowa in 2006. Following that, she became a faculty member at The Ohio State University. In August of 2009, she joined Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine – Arizona as an Assistant Professor. In 2015 Dr. Pulido was promoted to Associate Professor and in 2017 she graduated from The Costin Leadership Institute. In 2018, Dr. Pulido accepted the position of Associate Dean for Preclinical Education on the Downers Grove Campus. In 2021, she returned to CDMA for her appointment to Director of Preclinical Faculty and was promoted in 2022 to Professor and Associate Dean for Preclinical Education. 

Dr. Pulido received the “Faculty Mentor of the Year Award” from the American Association for Dental Research National Student Research Group for the academic year 2018-2019. She is a member of the American Dental Association, American Dental Education Association, Hispanic Dental Association, Sociedad Española de Ortodoncia, the American and International Dental Association in which she has serves as vice-president of the Arizona Chapter from 2015 to 2018. Dr. Pulido is an examiner for the ADEX Regional Board Exam, a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, and vice-president of the Sigma XI Scientific Research Honor Society Midwestern Chapter.
