Karen Berrigan, D.M.D., M.S.

Biography

Dr. Berrigan grew up in the Phoenix area and attended Arizona State University majoring in Zoology. She received her DMD and Master’ Degree in orthodontics from Washington University School of Dental Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri (1983 and 1986). She is board certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontists and has served as a consultant for the Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners. Dr. Berrigan is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, and Arizona State Dental Association She is an active member and past President of the Arizona Orthodontic Study Group and began teaching at MWU on a part-time basis in 2016.  She sold her practice and started teaching full-time in 2017. She is Clinical Assistant Professor in the Orthodontic department. Dr. Berrigan enjoys hiking and spending time with her family.
