Dr. Richey has been heavily involved in academics since the start of her career – both as a residency program attending at the Kaiser SF Bay Area Program and as faculty for student education. Her passion is centered in research and academics. She is honored to be a section editor for the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery. She is active in clinical research with prior publications, continued medical education lecture events, and most recently the invitation to serve as Faculty and Co-chair of the AO North America, podiatry education division. This joint collaborative effort between the AO Foundation and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons has been a highlight of her career.
