Biography
Dr. Jenny Lau received her magna cum laude Doctor of Optometry degree at the Illinois College of Optometry. She completed a residency program at the Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry in Family Practice/Ocular Disease. There she focused on enhancing a variety of skills in pediatrics, dry eye, advanced ocular disease, and laser/minor surgical procedures. She obtained her lasers and minor surgical procedures certificate in 2019 and continued to keep up with her Oklahoma licensure since then.
During residency, Dr. Lau has also taught students in the classroom and clinic, in addition to lecturing at local CE events. Following residency, she joined the Mayo Clinic Health Systems and worked there for about 3.5 years. At the Mayo Clinic, she saw a large volume of patients in mainly advanced ocular disease, primary care, urgent care, as well as developed the Dry Eye Clinic and Grand Round sessions at her location. Dr. Lau is a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry.
