James Lin, D.M.D.

Biography

Prior to joining Midwestern University in 2013, Dr. Lin was in private practice for 5 years. Preceding private practice, he had served Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine as Assistant Clinical Professor for 7 years. During his academic career, he was Acting Director/Director of the Dental Implant Clinic at SIU SDM.

Dr. Lin received a B.S. degree in Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and his D.M.D. degree and a two-year program certificate for Advanced Education in General Dentistry from SIU SDM. Afterward, he completed twice, a one-year Fellowship in Implant Dentistry at SIU SDM before joining the university as a faculty member in 2001.
