Biography

Dr. Rhea is an alumna of the Midwestern University Arizona College of Optometry (AZCOPT), where she earned her Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree. She graduated with clinical honors and was chosen from amongst her peers for the AZCOPT: Clinical Excellence in Primary Eye Care, and AZCOPT: Clinical Excellence in Optical Dispensing awards.

Dr. Rhea elected to continue her education and complete a postdoctoral residency in Ocular Disease & Primary Care at the Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry in Tahlequah Oklahoma. During her time in Oklahoma she was trained and practiced to the highest scope of optometry and obtained certifications in Laser Therapy for the Anterior Segment and Advanced Surgical Procedures for the Optometric Physician.

Dr. Rhea is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and is a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa: International Optometric Honor Society.

Dr. Rhea is a comprehensive O.D. with interests in the treatment and management of various ocular diseases including uveitis, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetes. She additionally enjoys working closely with contact lens patients and is experienced in fitting standard soft lenses, multifocal lenses, and gas permeable lenses.
