Celia Mimms, D.D.S.

Biography

Dr. Celia Mimms received her Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Doctor of Dental Surgery, both from the University of Iowa. She joined Midwestern University in 2019 as an adjunct professor. Prior to accepting a full-time position in 2021, she practiced in the Chicagoland area where she provided care in private practice as well as a mobile dentistry setting. Currently, Dr. Mimms is the Clinical Care Coordinator where she manages student doctor progress, oversees patient care, provides instruction on the clinic floor, and lectures about Special Needs Dentistry. Outside of Midwestern University, she is a liaison for Epic’s Academic Advisory Group and an active member of the Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, and the American Dental Association.
