Biography
Dr. Pierre-Bez received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Arizona State University, after which she joined the ASU Virginia G. Piper Center for Personalized Diagnostics research lab. Dr. Pierre-Bez received her D.M.D. degree from the Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine and completed a fellowship in dental education with the American Dental Education Association.
She practiced dentistry in a community health clinic in Somerton, Arizona and was an active member of the Yuma County Dental Study Club. She returned to the MWU College of Dental Medicine as a Pre-Clinical Assistant Professor to combine her passion for dentistry, research, and education. Dr. Pierre-Bez serves on research, assessment, and admissions committees within Midwestern University and is a member of the American and International Associations for Dental Research, the American Dental Education Association, the American Dental Association, Sigma Xi, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU). She completed a master’s degree in Educational Leadership at Northern Arizona University in 2021 and the ADEA Emerging Leaders Program in 2022. She is also a faculty co-advisor for the MWU CDMA Student Research Group.
