Biography
Dr. Adrienne Quan earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology/Chartered Accountancy from the University of Waterloo and received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry. Upon graduation, she completed her residency training in Vision Therapy / Low Vision Rehabilitation and Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation at Southern College of Optometry in Tennessee.
Dr. Quan is currently completing a Ph.D. in Health Sciences through Rush University. She joined the Translational Vision Science Lab (TVSLab) at Midwestern University to complete her dissertation research investigating the role of non-invasive brain stimulation in vision rehabilitation under the supervision of Dr. Arijit Chakraborty. Her clinical and research interests include brain injury vision rehabilitation, low vision and sensory substitution technologies, and electrophysiology.
Dr. Quan is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (AAO) and is an active member of the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO), the Illinois Optometric Association (IOA), and the American Optometric Association (AOA).
