Biography

Jane Borgehammar, PT, MS, is a Physical Therapist and Clinical Instructor at the Physical Therapy Institute of Midwestern University. She graduated from the University of Santo Tomas with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, obtained a Master of Science in Orthopedic Physical Therapy from Daemen College and is pursuing a Doctor of Science degree at Bellin College. She completed her Board Certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties, is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual therapists and the McKenzie diploma through the University of Otago with clinical training in Scotland.

Jane is also teaching faculty for McKenzie Institute USA. She has over 25 years of experience in a variety of clinical settings. In addition to her clinical treating and teaching she assists in academic musculoskeletal courses promoting evidenced-based practice to Doctor of Physical Therapist students. Her active research includes the relationship between smoking and pain, and factors associated with full publication in peer reviewed journals.
